THE 3 RING CIRCUS
In 2016 Red Lodge launched the first 3 Ring Circus in Sheffield. This is a unique event designed to encourage energy and excitement in live music.
3 amazing artists play 3 stripped back shows each all on the same night in 3 different venues with a different atmosphere.
So each artist becomes the opener, middle act and headline and the audience sits still, maybe has another pint, has a chat in between whilst the artists break all speed restrictions in order to get to the next show.
The only catch is that the audience doesn't know in which order the artists will appear at which venue.
So far this has taken place twice in Sheffield as part of the Sensoria Festival and has featured Richard Hawley, James Dean Bradfield (Manic Street Preachers), John Grant, Lou Doillon and Bill Ryder Jones. We also tried out the format with great success in Paris in 2017 with Richard Hawley, Lou Doillon and John Grant. Events are lined up in 2018 for Belfast, Brussels and Toronto as well as its home town, Sheffield.

Red Lodge is also a concert promoter.
Over the years we have been responsible for some very exciting shows and in recent years we have tried to focus on exciting venues too- garages, relish factories, steel works, underground tunnels, museums and distilleries.
Our favourite is probably our Cave shows in the heart of Derbyshire. The venue is strikingly called The Devil's Arse. It's a huge cave in Castleton- between Sheffield and Manchester. It holds 700 people and has played host to a number of shows including Jarvis Cocker, The Vaccines, Mystery Jets, Richard Hawley and local heroes The Everly Pregnant Brothers.
Red Lodge has also promoted shows by Mogwai, Palma Violets, Savages, Childhood, The Magic Numbers, Tom McRae, Miles Hunt and many more over the years and our individual histories prior to Red Lodge involved promoting artists such as Oasis, Suede, Jamiroquai, Pulp, The Stone Roses, Jools Holland and many more.
